Nun Sakin and Tanween
The
appearance of Nun sakin either in one word or at the end of the words
and tanwin at the end of the word need extra care and attention in their
pronunciation. There are a number of factors which are responsible for changes
in the recitation. These are incorporated in the four modes of recitation.
- al-Izhar The Manifestation of the letters in pronunciation.
- al-Idgham The Assimilation of the letter.
- al-Iqlab The Alteration of the letter.
- al-Ikhfa'
The Lowering
of the sound in pronunciation.
