RULE NO.35

The consonants Nun and Mim mushaddadah should always be recited with ghunnah, nasalization. The stretch should be for the duration of two harakah.

Example Analysis:

In the recitation of Nos. 733, 734, 736 and 737 the pause is not observed because the pronunciation of Nun mushaddadah is made clear.

Example No. 733, Inna: Here the Nun is carrying Shaddah and should be stretched for the duration of two harakah and recited with ghunnah.

Example No. 739, Thumma: The Mim is Mushaddadah and should be stretched for the duration of two harakah and recited with ghunnah.
