II (a) ii 1    Kalimi Mukhaffaf, One Word Dissimilated

RULE NO.42

The duration of the stretch should be by six harakat if a non-assimilated word includes a letter of madd and after it an invariable sukun appears. This madd is called Kalimi Mukhaffaf.

Example Analysis:

In Examples No. 813 and 814 al ana is the only word in the Qur'an to which this rule should be applied.
