The Accidental Stop With Glottal Stop

RULE NO.46
The duration of the stretch should be four to six harakat if after the letter of madd hamzah the glottal stop together with the accidental stop appear. This madd is known as al-Arid Us Sukun al-Mahmuz, The Accidental Stop With Glottal Stop.
This usually occurs when the qari stops at the end of an ayah, verse, and takes a breath.
Example Analysis:
Example No. 830, as-Sama': The accidental pause appears at hamzah which is glottal. The letter of madd should be stretched by two to six harakat.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَخْفَى عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ (832)

يَسْأَلُكَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ أَنْ تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ كِتَابًا مِنْ السَّمَاءِ (833)

وَمَنْ يُرِدْ أَنْ يُضِلَّهُ يَجْعَلْ صَدْرَهُ ضَيِّقًا حَرَجًا كَأَنَّمَا يَصَّعَّدُ فِي السَّمَاءِ (834)

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا عَنْهَا لَا تُفَتَّحُ لَهُمْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ (835)

قَالَ سَآوِي إِلَى جَبَلٍ يَعْصِمُنِي مِنْ الْمَاءِ (836)

وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَ كُلَّ دَابَّةٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ (837)

أَمَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ لَكُمْ مِنْ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً (838)

وَآتَاهُ اللَّهُ الْمُلْكَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَهُ مِمَّا يَشَاءُ (839)

هُوَ الَّذِي يُصَوِّرُكُمْ فِي الْأَرْحَامِ كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ (840)


قُلْ إِنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ (841)
